A secondhand Nokia brick with a battery that hardly lasted any time at all. Then a 3330. Then the K750i

I had a Rabbit mobile phone!
You could only use it at hotspots, I generally used service stations on the M1 or around Guildford.
It was a huge step up for me, I had a pager before that!

My first phone was an Alcatel One Touch DB! (Shame!)
And it was hurrendously overpriced, if I remember rightly.
Then it got stolen. (Yes, someone actually wanted to thieve it.)
That's when I got my T300, and I've been a SE boy ever since!

nokia 5110. one of the toughest phones ever. i reckon you wouldn't be able to break it even if you wanted to.
Posted by wid-get
Nokia 3210 a tough phone!
Posted by REO
A Uniden.... can't remember the model. This was in the mid 90's, the phone was slim, compared to the phones at that time. Never the less it would be considered a brick in todays world.

3rd phone - Ericsson /// T18s ( i know i'm kinda like going backwards in time!
4th phone - Ericsson /// erm...the big orange thing...but only for like a week
5th phone!!! - wooo!!! Sony Ericsson T200!!!! - i kinda like went through loads of cases and like 3 of the main boards and put em all together... but nevermind - probably had radiation going right into my head lol
6th phone - Ericsson /// T65 - all of the T200s broke
7th phone - well it weren't really - but went back to using T20e
8th phone - Sony Ericsson V600i!!!!! yay! - newest phone now - better than the T18s by a long, long way.
i still don't believe i've had all these phones - still got...the pieces of them...A2618s battery fell apart the other day - swore i'd fix it - have to find soldering iron somewhere though :S - could take 2 school...hmmmm.... but T65 still in workingish order...but not totally mine - me dads, and so is the T18s - i dunno whether e knows i got em really lol - nevermind...i'm probably gonna start upgrading every 18monthsish now though - unless phone prices come DRAMATICALLY down wish they would even though i only payed 90quid for my v600i - just think those old bricks cost more than this wonder!

I started using mobile phones quite late so it was the much-admired, no-nonsense Nokia 3310 back in 2002.
If there's going to be an Esato in heaven/hell, i hope GH1980 also starts a cute thread like this. I suggest the title "what was your last phone."
Posted by pinoy_plasma
mina was an alcatel one touch easy, i was in second year high school then. my frens would tease me bout having a safeguard soap on my pocket, hehehe
Posted by chili
plasma, don't feel so bad about your Alcatel. The nokia 6600 also sports that "bathroom" look. I personally call that phone "Symbian Soapbar."

my first mobile was an Analog incar Voxson unit, followed soon after by a Uniden handheld.
My first digital handset was a brick (can't even remember what it was). It was in 1998 or so. After that I got a Philips Twist. After that a Sagem, a moto V2288 (or something - it had an fm radio built in) then a real phone , the Ericsson T28s.
After that a short foray into the Nokia world with the 5510 music phone (with 64MB memory and AAC encoded audio). My next phone was my first SE and first camera phone, the T610. I then bought a Moto V525 for the VGA camera. Then the K700 came out. WHoot!! My best phone (for it's day) to date.
Then of course the K750 came out, and here we are!

1990 - Had a Cellnet brick-phone. Did exactly what it says on the tin, but it weighed the same as an average family car. Dropped it once – the phone was fine but it cracked a floor tile.
