A view of the 416-meter-long (457 yard) sleeping buddha statue in Yiyang, Jiangxi, eastern China.Claimed to be the world's longest, the statue construction was started on May 1, 2002 and is almost finished. The 68-meter-high statue has a 50.5-meter-long head and 12.3-meter-wide mouth.
