Whats the oldest phone you've got whether u have a fortunate collection or just a few tucked away? do they still work?! fire away ppl

Posted by whizkidd
My dads 3310. Might not be that old but i think its of vintage value now. It still works fine.

Posted by ThreeX
See signature..
Ericsson GH198 and Nokia 2110i both from -96 (maybe early -97 for the Nokia, donīt remember 100%
Anyway theyīre still ticking like Omega watches

Posted by whizkidd
2110? What are its features? :-)

Posted by ThreeX
Oh, it was very hi-tec! You could make and receive calls, send and receive SMS and it had a phonebook (in the phone), not only SIM-contacts!
Hot stuff! *once*

Posted by whizkidd
*drool* slurp!!! ;-)

Posted by knight4led
I stated it somewhere else, but I still have a Motorola Piper tucked away somewhere. It still turns on if I charge it, but its analog, so no signal. Its features... oh yeah, stores about 50 numbers and it has sthes cool buttons that you can dial numbers on. Thats about it, no sms, no voicemail, no missed calls, no names with the numbers. It was way cool back in the day.

But I'll take one tomorrow.

Posted by whizkidd
Wow! 1610! Lol.

Posted by ThreeX
I hate to burst your bubble, but the 1610 is not older than the 2110.. Google again for year of launch.
EDIT: Iīll save you the trouble..

what about this one? The (in)famous Philips Savvy! It was one of the first phones sold by Libertel (now Vodafone). It is already branded!

Posted by uthetha ituvi
I still have my old Ericsson r380s lying around. The opening keypad was such a 'wow-factor' when it came out.
I just don't have the heart to get rid of it, even though I use my p900 virtually all the time.
I was nearly tempted to get a R380 World on eBay some time back, but being restricted to GSM 1900 or GSM 900, not GSM 1800, would mean either Vodafone or O2 only...

still got a /// A1018s knocking about somewhere and a Trium Geo

My current phone is the Phillips Diga. It doesnt just use a sim chip, but an actual whole sim card.

And when I answer calls on it, people around me burst out laughing.
