I distinctly remember having at least 333 posts at some point yesterday afternoon, but when I logged on this morning I only had 310.

This is becoming a popular question!
Overnight a job runs which looks at posts in non mobile related forums and garbage threads and removes those posts from your post count.
So, your post count reflects only mobile related posts!

I always wonder why people are concerned with post count although I think it does hold more weight now that it does not include non mobile related posts. I have 3000 odd post count and apart from the fun of creating the highly exclusive The 3000's club! yesterday for fun, it would not make me a lesser person if it were 500.
On the other hand I suppose there is some status attached to it but since there is no real judge to the quality of the posts it really doesn't mean much.
I think people in the forum know who is who more so because their posts are respected and that means alot more than these post counts.
Certainly people should not stop having fun in the non mobile related threads just because their post counts won't increase so just enjoy Esato and forget all this!

edit: btw... I wonder if this reply will be included in my post count
