tylerj, these are the correct Cingular settings, and they should have been quite easy to find here on the forum. Glad things are working for you.

I live in NY and have cingular. My question is do you think it's worth having it @ $6.99 for 1 meg of data? I would imagine that 1 meg goes very very fast. What do you find enough data and how often do you use it?

For the user ID for Data Account. My T68i only allows me to enter a fix number of characters, unfortunately this string is ONE character too long. I enter only enter up to TCRESDC5RFDX@W3.MYCINGULAR.CO

Does anyone have this problem???

User with fixed character problem...I don't put that string into mine (I'm from the Bay Area, CA) and I put WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM for userid and CINGULAR1 for pw on the GPRS account. Works fine. On the GSM side, I use WAP@CINGULAR.COM for userid and CINGULAR1 for pw. Works fine. Give that a try. Good luck.

i also live in the bayarea, but this info does not work, it gives me an error that says gprs failed, wrong id or password. and the one you supplied does not work, and i do have the same problem as yourself, my characters are not long enough. but when i set up the account with cingular, why then did i recieve a login and pass from them, that i supplied them with?

hopefully my gprs will work soonly
