I've bought two days ago cabel drs-11 and i want to link it to my phone. Is the cable right? (In Ericssons web page is said that it should be DRS-10)

So, what should I do? What software I need? (only Package_5_for_Ericsson_PFW_version_R2A04 and MyPicturesR2E??)

...I'm a beginner in these things and I'm asking stupid things but I hope some one will help to me...

Thank you all!

Yes, you have the right cable. You can use
a) Ericsson Phone Book and Text Message Manager
b) Ericsson Phone Settings
c) MyPictures
d) XTND Connect PC for Ericsson (if you downloaded this stuff so you can sync with Microsoft Outlook)

I just wanna ask you guys if the cable DRS-10 is the same with the DRS-11 cable? I bought one and right now im using it... it seems to work fine with my T68. It says in the box that it will work on the R320 and R380. The people from the shop that i bought (Semicon, Philippines) said that if it will fit the your phone it will probably work. Is this true? Ive had the experience on my old Nokia Phone that not all Data Cables that fit the phone would work, i think there are some pin or jumper settings that is opted for just the N51/61 series compared to N62/71 series. In comparison, is this also likely to happen with ericsson phones? Can it cause some software damage? Thanks for any inputs..

the drs11 have just a other chip which gives you some more possibilities, it is the new cable which is supposed to replace the drs10, so you can use it just fine and you will not damaging anything on your t68

@ GRIFTER:

DRS-10 and DRS-11 data cables are both perfectly and 100 % GSM data compatible. The only difference between these cables is the fact that DRS-11 supports TDMA phones, too.

The opinion "if the connecotor fits, the cable fits" is wrong, however. T28 data cables do not work with T3x/6x.
