Sometimes words just can't do the moment justice. You've seen something amazing, and you want to share it - with a friend who is not there. Thanks to the Sony Ericsson mobile camera CommuniCam™ MCA-10 view, you'll be sharing all those magical moments - in a matter of minutes. MCA-10 View is so small and light that you can carry it in your pocket. It weighs only 25 grams. And it is easy to use to. Connect the camera to the phone. Take a picture. Check the picture in the display. And then send the picture to the e-mail address of your choice. That’s it. In roughly one minute, the picture will be on your friends PC. The MCA-10 View can be used with the R520, T39 (limited picture size), T65, T68m and T68i. To e-mail images via your mobile phone you need a subscription that supports data transmission

AFAIK
The MCA-10 does not allow you to see the picture immediately. You need to send it over as an email to your Mobile Internet (wap.sonyericsson.com) account before you see it.
The MCA-10 View does allow you to see a preview of the picture taken, before sending it as an email to your Mobile Internet account. |

i think the mca-10 & the mca-10 view is the same... and that the "view" thing is when using the mca-10 with a t68i or upgraded t68m... shouldn't have sold my mca-10... then i could have confirmed it... :/

@apaman, i saw the information from sonyericsson site about three weeks ago.
@grifter, maybe you'd like to check the posts of john74 about the possible upgrade.
@epedemic, as mentioned in the sonyericsson web site, the mca-10 view is not only for t68m or i. it could be used (and can preview pictures) on other phones such us t39, r520 and t65 which means the mca-10 view might have new firmware not dependent on the phone.

I´m using a MCA-10 with a t68i and I can not view the pictures on my phone...
Strange, and SE Netherlands told me they don´t know anything about an upgrade for the MCA-10 to a MCA-10 view.
I think the idea of a communicam is great but I´m not willing to pay 200 euro (or more) for a MCA-20.

@John74
So you mean even if i have a T68m the MCA-10 will be a view after i upgrade my firmware to 'i'? So the cam is software dependent on the phone. How come arnoldc said that you can do the same for other phones if the MCA-10 is 'view'? Now which is which guys? |

@john: oops f*cked up, it meant to be 10, i've changed it, hihi
@lebowski: I can't view it on the screen, only afterwards I go to my pictures and it's there..... so I don't have to send it to my email or whatever, like other people say you have to do with it..... |
