I can see that people has problem Synchronizing Outlook with XTNDConnect PC on Windows XP, using Infrared

some of you wrote that they got an answer from Sony Ericsson support stating that the XTNDConnect PC is not supported by Windows XP,

well there is a solution, and its very simple:

1. Go to Start -> Run and put the text below and press OK
"C:Program FilesCommon FilesXCPCSyncTranslatorsErPhn2"
2. the above folder will open, then click the right mouse button on the file: ErTray.exe
3. go to the compatibility Tab, click on "run this program in compatibility mode for" and choose - Windows 2000, Press OK

4. Go to Start -> Run and put the text below and press OK
"C:Program FilesXTNDConnect PC"
5. the above folder will open, then click the right mouse button on the file: XCMnuCfg.exe
6. Follow step 3.
7. click the right mouse button on the file: xtndpc.exe
8. Follow step 3.

if you follow these steps, the problem will be solves
