Well I had my T68m working perfectly on my bluetooth connection with my PC, but ofcourse I had to have it upgraded... wow I can save more then 1 picture now... and I can use screensavers... and MMS... and loads more!!! BUT NOW THE F*CKING MOBILE PHONE MONITOR WON'T SEE MY PHONE!!!! I tried everything... facory reset on the phone... clean install of XP with just the phone software installed... waiting for like half an hour to see if it will recognize it anyway... but no deal... the closest I got was the MPM nagging me about a password that was not valid... Any1 knows what the prob is??

Well the thing is that it used to work perfectly on my XP system, so that can't be it. And I put on the new software... at the moment I only have the SE Image Editor installed (wich comes with it's own MPM I noticed) and that is the one that gives me the most feedback "You entered the wrong PIN. Please enter the correct PIN code." Thanks for the reply though. But still

where did you get the phone upgraded? I've seen other things about t68i and the BT software. I have un-upgraded t68m and MSI BT thingy and it's cranky at best, I guess it's XP's networking code which causes problems - have you tried win2k?

About the PIN... I have to give 1 when I pair my phone with the (Acer) BT thingy... that works fine, no problems there. The XP network thing could be it. I installed a network during the period my phone was away for upgrading. But now I'm at an old PC running Win98se, installed everything... BT running perfect... but still a no go in the MPM department. Well I'm gonna disconnect all the network things and do another clean install... maybe that'll work... Where are the times where phones were just for calling people... *sigh*

are you referrring to PINs for your mobile phone, or the passkey for pairing the device?

if you're referring to the passkey, delete the original pairing (from phone and PC) then pair them again.

I think it's the pairing code, but the paring with my bluetooth device goes great, it's just that MPM tries to pair again. I tried not pairing my phone and then running MPM, then I get a message on my phone asking me to accept. I accept... then it wants a PIN on my phone... I enter a PIN... but then there is no way in MPM I can enter a PIN code so the pairing fails. Does anyone here knows if MPM uses some kinda general PIN???

MPM causes your phone to ask for the PIN code? hmm ... i haven't encountered anything similar.

Are you sure the phone is asking for the PIN, it seems that you haven't actually paired the device, because it continues to ask for the passkey when you try access the phone.

MPM do ask for the PIN the first time the phone is recognized if the phone ask for pin is on.

Yeah that's what I thought so I turned off the PIN security feature in my phone but still a no go!!! And MPM doesn't ask my phone for a PIN it doesn't ask for anything at all... it just gives a pop up saying I entered the wrong PIN... don't know if it means the phone PIN or the pairing PIN (btw pairing works... no problems there). Well I'll just keep trying... if anyone has something that might work... please post!!
