There's nothing can't be done by ericsclient. By using ericsclient, you not only can flash the phone yourself, at a cost of only 5GBP, but also be able to have chinese T9 input even your phone is originally a english one!
I've just flashed my T68mi which has a version of R2B to R5D(ie version), everything goes fine again! Flashing by yourself is not that horrible!Indeed, It's quite easy
The procedures are already described in my previous post, "Flashing T68m to T68i by...myself!!!".
Enjoy flashing yourself in the new era! Especially for US users, who are still suffering from the high price of flashing "unofficially" and the risk of sending their phones out.

Last thing to remind esato board master, the FAQ should change, we can now flash by ourself, though it costs money, GBP5, just a small amount!

Hey guys, have you really learn enough about flashing? It seems that you guys just know that I can do flashing myself, and think that you can do it too. Yes, of course, you can do it, but i've said many times that, you should learn enough about flashing first. I am not meaning that i so greedy to keep the file myself, but I can see you guys actually don't know clear enough what actually flashing phone is.
@c168ok
R5D only have ie version, you need not specific that you want an "ie" version
@jocer
R5D only have chinese and english, and this implies that it does have english, you need not specific it.
@RANDYC
Don't you know how large is the .bin file? do you really expect that your email accout(yahoo) can receive a big file?
@deepsweech
You are lucky that you are in Esato, if you are in GSM-forum, you would have been given a "yellow card". Pls try to avoid "me too" message, it's really disgusting.

I am not meaning to hurt you guys, if you feel so, I apologize for it. I just don't want you guys failed in flashing, and then keep on asking me why, while the real reason is just because you haven't learn enough.
I suggest you guys read this page again: http://www.gsmhacking.com.ua/using_tips.php?id=18
and also, read the readme.doc file in any package of ericsclient.

Please, really learn and understand. I just want everyone flash happily and successfully. Sorry that my english is not good, I'm not a native speaker, if I really hurt some of you, sorry again.

LOL, waikincheng, I think you explained very clearly but some people just wouldn't read....

Can you share the R5D if I give you a FTP server to upload to?

Thanks in advance.
