Hello!
I've got some problems with the syncronization between T68 and my Palm...
I can send TO my phone but not FROM it...
For example: I can send calendernotes to the phone's calender. BUT I can't send calendernotes FROM the phone to my Palm. My Palm says "Data received in unknown format"...
I've got the upgrade to Palm OS 3.5.3, but my phone is of the first version. (My phone is a T68)
Do you know why it doesn't work? Is it because I've got the old software version on my phone?

Business Cards,
Datebook Entries - (but I got date accuracy problems)
Tasks (ok from palm to phone but when i send from phone to palm, blank task is placed in datebook)
m500 series uses palmOS 4.1
I don't use my phone's PIM functions, I got the palm to do that.

I can send and receive too !
On my side, I'm using a Palm Vx, OS v.3.2.3 and a T68 v. R2A.
BTW, it can't be a language problem, because my Palm is an english version, and my T68 is in french.
Maybe only the R2A is making the difference...???

Yes, I think that the R2A makes the difference... But what if I still got the problem after I've upgraded it? One of the main reason that I bought the T68 was that I could send stuff between the Palm & phone.
Well well... we'll see after the upgrade.  I'll try to do it this weekend. Hope they could upgrade it while I'm waiting? I don't want to leave it... |

The actual upgrade process shouldn't take more than 30 minutes. That's based upon the experience of those who had their software upgraded. |

Yes you can. IrDA is the standard used by both the Palm and Ericsson phones (including your T68).
What do you want to do with your palm + T65? |

I use "Blazer" to surf WAP and WEB on my Palm OS 4.1 and my T39.
On the phone just turn on IR.
On the Palm, configure your ISP in the "prefs" application. |

What I want to do? Synchronize calendar, contacts; doing WAP on a bigger screen.
I don't know of any app that can synchronize the calendar between the two devices. Personally, I don't use the Calendar function of my T39m.
So how to connect these two devices together?
You can use IrDA (like I do) or BlueTooth which our phone supports (assuming you got a BT SDIO)
The applications I use for internet stuff are:
Blazer - HTML and WAP browser (great app!)
MultiMail Pro - Access to my email (IMAP and POP support)
ICQ - instant messaging program (rarely used)

I had mine upgraded today... and it STILL doesn't work! I still can't send calender stuff FROM my phone TO my Palm! Why?! Do I have to buy the M505 for this to work?!
Is there anyone else having this problem with a T68 R2A & a Palm Vx 3.5.3?

GOwin, could we like use the GPRS to connect to the internet? and use the pda to surf? that way its free... is it possible? i'm confused... |

Upgrade your palm OS to 4.1?
But I'm not sure that it work beter after upgrade. |
