when i select the copy contacts to sim function, it only copies 22 numbers to the sim and then gives me a message sayin 'sim full'. have tried many sims & all the same

Do you have many numbers for each contact? The reason I ask is that some SIM's can only hold 100 contacts. With 3/4 numbers for each contact this will soon fill.

no I keep 1 number for each contact and it says they my sim can hold 150 numbers....

Very strange. You tried to see what happens if you try to copy back from the SIM? Or would you lose all your contacts in the phone that way?

indeed its stange. if i copy back to the phone all except 22 numbers will be gone!!!

the reason is if on your phone memory, some of the phone number saved from position 1 to 22, and the others saved from position 101 to 130. And your sim card only can save 100 numbers. (p.s. the new sim card can save 200 numbers) If you copy the phonebook from the phone to sim, only 22 entries will be copied. Then prompt sim full. Check the position list of your phonebook. So it is easy to sort out the problem now....
