I don't understand...I had the T68 recently that had R3C I now have one with R3E what difference exactly is there...I seem to think the difference is so small barely noticeable!!
anyway now the idiots at Orange have put the crappy orange badge on it...the old one (r3C) didn't have the badge!!!

How do you find your hardware version?
I've tried looking everywhere!!! I know my SW is R1B, it says in that secret menu >*<<*<* and on the back of the phone.
I've searched this forum and not found out how to display it.
Please help (bet i sound dumb now lol)

open up your battery...just below the sim it says Made in Malaysia...next to it it will say something like R3E

look on the label on the back of your phone under the battery. As the image above, the red ring marks the HW version.

the placement for the versionnumbers may vary depending on where the phone is produced.... this label is taken from a T68i...
btw.. the label is taken from Apaman's T68i pictures on http://www.aperfectaudience.com/t68i.html

I knew the pic was a T68i, but i'm supprised its made before my T68m was made.
The T68i shwn was made in the 4th week of 2002 and my T68m was made 5th week 2002
