Is this the merge we been waiting on?
IE. same software for both i/m.
I'm still looking for a ChangeLog for the diff software releases.
There must be one but perhaps its only avaible for
the developers then self. (not that it makes any sence the
 SP ppl should have access to it also since they are
suppose to know enough to fix phones) |

Unfortunately there doesnt seem to be any differences!! The only difference I can see is that my display now says UK vodafone and it used to say UK Voda! Games are still the same, still no tetris! Never mind! |

I think there is some confusion here.
The latest software I know of
is R2B025 for T68i
Then there been some signs of another release soon.
(which I think will be same for T68m/i so they dont have
to maintain two diff software trees)

Are You sure the release version for t68m? As I know the latest release for t68m is r2b013. |

New revision released today is R2D005 but this is still without MMS. I got it today from the EMMA II server and now have it installed in my phone. |

Like with all software there are bugs
when you find them you fix them and
when you fixed a bunch more or less important
bugs you release the software (so phones being returned
can be fixed).
Then they find/fix more bugs and after a while they release
another version again.
The hard part with software devel is to add new features
you almost always manage to sneak in new bugs that way too.

I work for a mobile operator. My friend in the service look after the sw releases for t68. Hi said that: latest sw for t68i=r2b025, t68m=r2b013. Thats all  |

might be that the language version he checked still has R2B013 as latest... but it's R2D005 that's the latest for most languageversions. |
