Just noticed that my phone turns off when pressing the NO button while key lock is activated.

And a few minutes ago I called Support here in Sweden and asked if its supposed to be like this - And the lady I was talking to said:
Yes if you push the NO button for 20sek it turns off!!

-Pls try if you phone does turn off, and pls write in the reply if its a T68i or T68m

This is one of the most stupid thing with my T68 - if all turns off - the meaning with KEY LOCK is to prevent such things to happen - But it was designed like that she said!?

Are you sure? Push it for about 20sek!
I couldnt believe what she said to me, and it doesnt say anything of it in the manual! Feels like re-construction the whole thing, and if some doesnt then

Yes. Same is true for T68i R2A014. Even without playing the using sound (di da du)! Will try T68i R2B025 later.
Note that you can also call 112, 911 and 08 when the phone is locked!

I tried it on my T68m with the R2B software, and you're right the phone does turn off itself if you hold the button for some time. It seems a bit stupid to me, even though I think you should have really bad luck if the NO button would be pressed that long when in your pocket

Yepp, but its a really stupid way to design it!
And why isnt there anything bout it in the instr. book?

I mean that is one thing T68 users certainly would like to find out by reading, not by having it turned off in your pocket.

Mines turned off, even made in Malyasia too

Doesn't even make a sound either.

Doh, took a little bit to turn back on too (Thought I screwed it up, hehe)

@JKay

I think calling Emergency numbers while the keylock is on thing is smart.
Never know when people panic enough, they forget the keylock is on.

I think that none of you has understood the meaning of this function. This is a way to switch off your phone if it has frozen or hung up and it forces a hardware shutdown of the phone. So it is a function not a bug.
