im thinking buying it or not.. wanna hear some comments and reviews from you guys.
Some quick idea I know from the phone.. (had used it from my friend)
1) TFT 65k color screen which is brighter and sharpper than samsung s100
2) digi cam is very ease of use, just like a real digital cam but resolution is only 128x134 something like that, even less than my t68i cam
3) picture caller id is too small.. only like 1/10 of the screen
4)the high price!!!!!!!
I really wanna know if it has java something.. that I can dl games.. app, etc.... I couldn't find any idea even from its offical web site
thanks in advance guys~ |

Well just got my gd87, i previously owned a t68i and nokia 7650, the panasonic really tops the cake. Firstly the screen totally destroys nokias 7650 screen for brightness, sharpness and colour. The camera is perfect for MMS use, takes great shots to store on your phone or to send to other MMS handsets, not really good for sending to a pc and viewing. The caller ID is fine, slightly bigger than the one on 7650 and i thought that was even ok. Ringtones are great, the speaker sounds alot clearer and louder than nokias. The menus are great and easy to use, everything was easy to setup, MMS, Wap and Email took no longer than 15 mins to set up and everything worked great. Infa-red worked fine aswell, i transferred ringtones and background images i had stored on my pc with no problem at all. The phone is light, classy looking and its a good investment. Good luck !!!! |

I have the GD87 here in the states and I gotta say that it's a great phone. The screen does boast 65k and it has many features that you would want a phone to have (xcept for bluetooth ). I love this phone a lot. I would recommend it.... |

The difference between those 2 phones, I do not know. I can get you the phone but due to shortages and the fact that it's still a new phone, the price may be pretty steep. |

Well it doesnt support Java, it supports ExEn, which is sort of similar to java but only for games! It is network dependant, i know vodaphone live in Germany and some other countries supports it, there is a great list of games available for download.
