why wait for the T650? It seems people in this thread already prefer the T630 over the Nokia

ill definitely wait for the 6230 , t630 does not have an MMC , VGA cam and Video recording capabilities. no raido even , and the 6230 has bluetooth that is the icing on the cake for me! i just wonder how much it will cost me. |

why present 'lots of ppl will cross over' like fact?
Customer behaviour is fickle and unpredictable and source of endless research and guessing.
It all remains to be seen.

While the T630 doesn't have a VGA cam it has software to convert the pics taken to VGA size. Ok not the same but how often do you want to email or MMS VGA pics?
Also I really don't understand the fascination with video recording on such a small screen (smaller than the T630 I understand)
...and yes I agree with you vlam, I did read it as fact rather than opinion, but I guess it was only Malindas opinion

Why is MMC so important? Do you want this for listening to MP3/WMA files? If so, then is there going to be a steroe headphone jack socket because I do not think this was listed. |

Altho I too find the 6230 a very very very decent phone with a lot of features... there's no telling until I've been to a shop a tried it out if it will actually full fill expectations.
I do see the fun in video recording, but I know myself well enough to know I upload anything and everything to my PC for viewing... on any phone it'd probably be kak
Still it's good that there will now be some serious competition, i hope other brands will join

I own a T610 and I'm happy with it, but I reccon that a MMC in which you can store your VGA pictures (much better quality than CIF, in order to transfer to the PC), store your MP3 (the 6230 will play MP3!) and many other things is very useful.
So, for me, 6230 beats T610-T630:
- MMC (plenty of space)
- VGA Cam
- MP3 playing
- Radio (not very useful for me, but it's a feature).
I don't choose a phone only looking for a brand, but for features, so I think that's undoubtable that the 6230 has all the features of th T610, and much more!
We'll see if SE replies Nokia with something amazing (and think about P900 bcause it's another type of phone (size))

Because it enables the user to overcome the idiotic limitations of 2mb memory found in SE T610/T630 which prevents me from using even the most basic features presented in these otherwise wonderfull phones to their full extend.
This is my personal biggest annoyment of these phones. I'm not going to switch to Nokia anyways cause I still love my SE phones, but it really really annoyes me to only have 2 mb memory. The T630 are marketed as a multipurposephone, play games using attachable gamepad, add pictures to all your contacts, create nice themes, take pictures with camera etc etc. Now how in the world am I going to do all that with only 2 mb memory. Its not even enough memory to add a picture to each of my contacts as advertised - let alone do anything else if I wanted to. How am I going to play these wonderfull gamepad supported games if theres no memory left to load the games? How am I going to use the camera if theres no memory left to store the pictures? etc. etc.
I say this over and over - SE stop being so god damn stupid - you make these wonderfull phones that look and feel great with functions and menus that makes them almost perfect imho, and then you ruin it by crippling the memory. Its ok that you dont want to equip the phone with more than 2mb memory as a basis, but if you do so, then atleast add an mmc-slot to enable me to add the amount of memory that I need to use the features you advertise. Otherwise all the features are simply useless salesgimmicks. Its a simple thing - add an mmc-slot and to me the phones would be perfect and I'd be an SE fan for life. |

well.. maybe not MMC as they are limited in available capacities... usé and SD... but of course they won't because they will want to use memory stick duo if they are going to use anything... and I wouldn't complain if it was only a MS duo and not duo pro that I could use on my T610 128Mb on my T610 would be fantastic!

an SD slot would be tops but any kind of memoryslot would do !! as long as there is one, I would atleast have the possibility to fix the memoryproblem myself. Thats all I ask
