As some of you may remember I posted some pics on my p800 graphite conversion, here are better pics showing the two variations again. The graphite/silver one does not have the screws put in, so you may notice the small gap in the seams... I just didnt feel like tightening them cuz I might wanna use that housing again. P.S. incase you are wondering why I dont just swap my sim, thats cuz that one is toast, i just got it for the screen and housing...
Hope you like em... Laterz
I like the blue/graphite one the most. What about you?
Sorry for reposting, but I got alot of flaming for better pics'

i like the blue graphite one... it reminds me of the color scheme of the 7250(i).... at least the p800 has better features than tt. |

Very nice job. Personally, I'm not so keen on the graphite/blue one. The graphite/silver is very nice though.
How's about one with the colour changing paint that sometimes get used on cars like TVRs. It's the stuff that changes colour with viewing angle. |

I was thinking about that colour changing paint, then I got the feeling it was a little too tacky for a p800 not to mention expensive too in comparison, so I found this graphite "wheel" paint designed for mag wheels in our paint section. It is very tough once it dries... it has held up no problem, and no need for topcoat of laquer or anything. It is naturally that colour that you see (except the flash makes it a little more sparkly, as you can see the blue is enhanced a little too)... so long as you spray evenly and dry it well, I prefer the just warm oven for 5 to 8 hours first that lets the paint settle to a smooth finish. No Orange peel finish then you let it air dry for a couple of days, the longer the better... that ensures a hard cure like what you see... you can use see below for detailed instructions on how to paint...
