Press Release
LONDON 28 September 2006 – Sony Ericsson today announces K320i, its latest ‘snapshot’ camera phone & one that is equally well suited to either the working week or the weekend. Compact and stylish looking, K320i is packed with impressive features. As a business tool it includes Bluetooth™ with Automatic Bluetooth™ pairing, PC synchronisation and support for push email. When the working day is over, K320i also offers a camera with 4x digital zoom and a fully-specified media player for music & video playback. Sleek styling and a choice of subtle colours makes K320i the multi-talented phone you’ll always want with you.
“K320i is the kind of well-balanced phone that appeals to both the cost-conscious employer and the demanding user,” says Steve Walker, Vice President Product Marketing, Sony Ericsson. “It’s a well equipped business tool that gives you complete office mobility, without compromising on the consumer features and strong design that will ensure employee acceptance.”
K320i delivers the wire-free benefits of Bluetooth®, whether easy data transfer between phone & PC or handsfree calling with a Bluetooth® headset. It is one of the first Sony Ericsson phones to feature Automatic Bluetooth™ pairing, which allows the user to easily connect with a compatible Bluetooth™ accessory* (such as the Sony Ericsson Bluetooth® Headset HBH-IV835) without the need to enter a pass code when first linking the two devices.
With K320i there are many ways to stay connected; and with push email you can stay on top of your inbox, even when you’re out of the office. Your messages can be sent to your phone from your email account - ideal for when you’re travelling or awaiting that important customer confirmation.
To help ensure that your address book, calendar, ‘To Do’ list and notes are completely up-to-date, K320i provides for fast, easy synchronisation with your PC. Both USB cable and synchronisation software are provided, so you can replicate the data from your PC on your phone as soon as it’s out of the box.
Whether browsing the web for the latest travel updates or cinema releases, a full HTML web browser lets you do this on the move. And a dedicated speaker phone provides an instant conference call facility when you need it for the office.
K320i is a GPRS 900/1800/1900 phone available in Misty Silver, Graphite Grey and Light Brown. It will be available on selected markets from October 2006.
* Note: The Bluetooth™ Headset HBH-PV705 bundled/packaged with the K320i in selected markets does not support Bluetooth™ Auto Pairing.
