I guess it had to come, surprised its taken this long really...
any downsides to doing this?
is it just a matter of setting a W950 CDA into the M600?

We salute you for making it happening, but it would be interesting to hear how you did it.
Too bad pdf+ and officepackage are not in the W950i sw. |

Interesting, but (if true) there must be some problems... for instance:
Does the qwerty keyboard still work?
Does the M600 magically gain an FM radio, or does that app just fail/crash?
As someone else said, does it recognise the M2 card slot?
I can see this conversion having a few drawbacks, and not too many real plus points... (unless you really like the orange theme).

there are a few things to change, it shouldn't be so hard, and more than half a year, it's enough to make these changes:
-the change of the qwerty keypad to normal one
-remove the walkman buttons (2 on top of the keyboard and the side)
-recognition of memory card
-simply just delete the radio function from fw
i just hope this change will hit my phone soon

but that's literally it though isn't it? An uprated media player (not that there's too much missing from the M600's) and in return you lose quickoffice, pdf+, and more than likely gain a few bugs and glitches too...
Not convinced it's worth anyone's effort, to be honest. If it could magically activate the FM radio and 4 gb storage already hiding, dormant in the M600 then maybe, but assuming they're not there.. nah.

very possible.and the walkman menu above today may be on the background picture.
i wonder how the file manager looks like. and the free space option.

I want to know if it will be possibile to flash a W950 into a M600.
Benefits for me:
- I want QWERTY
- I like the M600 design
- I [s]want[/s]must have 4GB internal
- I want normal (non-walkman) UI
- Don't like the 'touch' keypad from the W950
