Has anyone tried the new R2AA003 firmware released on Total Server yet?
http://www.totalserver.net/
I would be interested to know whether it has a quick search facility in the phone book, as was added to the pre-release R2Y formware.
Additionally, does anyone know if this is available on EMMA yet? |

Hi Mike,
I took my phone today to official service center in Croatia (and the only one) asking to debrand my unbranded-bought-phone (I bought it unbranded at their place, not locked to any network, but couldn't use Online software update, because it said Your operator does not allow...)... So I asked them to clean boot, EPROM, etc. and give me what I bought initially. I also asked about R2AA and they had no idea about it, but said they'll check it out if it is on EMMA and update my phone... So I'll let you know more tomorrow...
Take care

Yes, R2AA003 is officially released for the K700. It is not a typo, and yes, they ran out of alphabet letters so now they go to AA, AB, AC, AD, etc. |

Is this revision available on the online update service?
Does this contain the phone book search seen in R2Y? |

what are the new/added features in R2AA? what are the bug fixes? i hope R2AA allows us to view movie clips in full screen just like when viewing pics in R2L version. |

R2AA003 is not available from the SE online update (yet). Give it a day or two...
The only changes in this firmware are a (supposedly) faster main menu, and the ability to autosave a contact when using your SIM as the main phonebook.
Not really worth the upgrade if you have to use a credit. If it's free, then fine... |

What kind of an upgrade is that?(if it's true reg the changes) I've been waiting for the phonebook search option to be incorporated by se coz my old t68i has it why not a newer more advanced phone?

R2AA SHOULD have the phonebook search feature ... although, as I haven't got it, I can't say for sure |
