The SonyEricsson mobile phone design team gave a very impressive presentation of their work at the Swedish Embassy yesterday.
Here is Art Director Mr Kawagoi, who created the famous SonyEricsson logo, explaining the messages contained in his creation:
Here Swedish Managers of the SonyEricsson Creative Design Center from Lund/Sweden:
My conclusion: expect a lot more great designs out of SonyEricsson. Also, there is every indication it's a very successful Japan-Swedish cooperation.

The question is WHEN? When they will show us their next phone line-ups. All of their phone models are already released! |

Thats right bart. Even its a new era of mob fone design, but if i were an /// designer i would force more traditions.

the tradition of /// was to but inovation technology in a good looking phone.
imo SE isn't pushing inovation that much, and there designs aren't really my style. but i still buy them because they give the most features for the best price

You can wonder to what extent there is much else to innovate in phones. /// has done it all. Everything that is new nowadays is related to non-phone features. And then I would not know why we should expect /// developers to be much more innovative than any other brand.
What still makes the difference between SE phones and the others in terms of design is that they tend more to make the functionality visible. It still looks like a "device" not like an "object". |
