K750i - What bugs have you found? |

I want to list all kind of bugs you guys have on your k750i so we can send them to SE for the next firmware update.
I can start the list with:
1. I cant create larger MMS than 100kb (it works with my previous k700i). (I got an answer from SE on this one. The 100kb is a limit on k750i. The k700 had 300kb as a limit. SE don't know if they gonna fix this limit.)
2. The k750 screen goes white and then the phone reboots when scrolling pictures in a folder. (I scroll fast and there is a lot of pics).
3. My camera mode made the phone reboot once when i pushed the "back"-button after i taken a pic.
4. If you choose the dateformat "24-May-05" the month is always shown in english although ive choosen swedish as language.
5. There is a thin line on the bottom of screen (just above the clock and counter) when I call a contact that has a picture.
6. The sorting of pictures in folders don't work properly. It differs from time to time.
Well. What have you found?

1- if u switch the phone off and then on again the shortcut is gone and u have to reset it
2- if auto keylock is on and the phone key is locked, moving the slider activates the camera (thats fine) but after a while the phone gets locked!! ...it happend just when i was about to take the pic!!
3- the music botton doesn't work in standby unless the headset is attached even though its set to the music player wich doesn't need the headset!
4- The media player sound is much lower than when the phone ring for a phone call!
5- memory stick is not accessable from the phone if the phone is connected with the USB cable to the PC
6- "Auto focus" can't be disabled or skiped!
those are the major issues that i've encountered with the K750i |

1. mine has crashed three times while trying to zoom in on photos in the photo album
2. sometimes when I open the camera slide the screen just goes white or black and does not activate the viewfinder.

Ur Bug in no.5... its actually not an issue or a bug... as u have already connected it in the pc.. might aswell u look into ur MS using ur PC.. this also relates to any other SE phone.. V800, Z800 etc..

I've got the K750i on Orange UK so may have slightly different bugs to sim free models.
I've also noticed that the shortcut is gone when you switch the phone off.
The other thing I have noticed is that when I receive a text the time in the inbox is different from the time it was actually sent by the user. For example, got a text message that says it was received at 1:27am this morning in the inbox but when you click on details it states that it was sent hours later at 08:04. Could be a network problem but it doesn't happen on my old phone. |

Might be a good thing to make a complete list of bugs and send it to SE, they can use such lists for futher firmwares

1. Interesting to note that this problem does not occur with all the shortcuts! For instance, if you set your right shortcut to "wap browser" it doesn't disappear...
4. I think it's deliberate, to force people to listen to music through headset... The same is true with the earphone: when you go to the "tests service" in the hidden menu you can see that the sound is actually much louder than what it is when you make a call!
6. You CAN skip autofocus: just press the button hard at once (don't stop at mid-level) and you'll automatically make a picture without autofocus. |

Superb phone, great features BUT it fails on text messages. Im on O2 and I am receiving nobodys texts on O2, orange texts I receive fine.
Im sending people texts with read receipts, they get my text but i dont get a) their reply b) the read receipt.
Guess its back off to o2 on the 14 days period

Only one so far:
Noticed that the Browse function is missing from the bluetooth my Devices listing. You can't browse files on devices even though they support file transfer (e.g PC or other phone). |

That one might just be some "privacy" thing and not a bug, although i am not sure.

02 --> it may not be a bug but its causing inconvenient for me
turt --> does that mean that SE want us to carry the headset around with us all the time?!
and about the autofocus ... i pressed it hard several times... and it does not take the picture instantly! so i assume its a bug |

It's very important to post your bug reports so SE will correct them in the next FW

Well on my phone it doesn't matter what I put as my right shortcut because it still disappears, even the "wap browser".
I also changed the left shortcut from the default "write new" to "messages" to give access to the whole of my message sub folder but this also restores to default after my phone is turned off and on again.
Not the end of the world though but it's still a little annoying.
Otherwise, wow, what a great phone!!

i Totally agree with point 4 !!! same problem here, although i dont think its a bug, its a design problem !!!
as for point 5, thats for sure not a bug.
when u plug in the phone the memory stick is mounted on your computer (as if it was an external hard drive). its perfectly logical that you cant use it from ur phone because its basically disconnected from ur phone and connected to ur computer !!! if you wanna use ur memory stick on ur phone u have to unmount the memory stick, not sure how u do that in windows, maybe it shows up as plug in device on the toolbar which u could remove !!! |
