@Muhammad-Oli
yeah, I'm no expert but I don't think it takes three months just to do that. I'm pretty disappointed with how they handled the X10a, if only I could switch carriers. I will probably be skipping the X10a, though I love that phone, I'll be waiting for the SE phone where Sony has a big role in it. |

so theres few smartphones releasedd in Japan, or few that sell well. But the x10 has been the best selling in history there, nothing can change that (yet). No matter if theres only 4 smartphones, the x10 was the best selling one. Its not as if its been the only smartphone ever released in Japan. We should be congratulating SE.
Engadget clearly dont like or many others for that matter. Apart from Apple.
Im no fanboy, but have achieved this and hats off to them.
It's interesting to see the reaction to this news around the web. A few have congratulated SE for a good marketing campaign and for producing a successful product but for others it just sticks in their throat that SE have produced a phone which has hit the top spot and give them some much needed success at last.
I've even read comments describing the Japanese as 'weird' and even no longer a hi-tech country and you can tell that it really gets peoples backs up and I'm really glad that it does.
Others have said it's only sold because the Japanese are fiercely patriotic - but Apple iPhone is also in the top ten so that just doesn't wash. They're trying to dismiss SE's success in Japan as some weird fluke but really they've just produced a good phone and marketed it well. Ultimately, consumers vote with their wallets and on this occasion they just chose the Xperia.
Commentators in the mobile industry should be at least glad that there is healthy competition and alternative choices for the consumer - that would be the right thing to do.
Sorry for the OT post.

It's the same with most so called analysts. SE was written off by quite a few, with some of them even predicting the exact timeframe in which they expected it to decline and wither away. And now, with SE doing a creditable job, they are unwilling to admit and give credit for the same.
With the X10, Sony Ericsson have shown that they still have the capability and the expertise to create a top notch device that can be perched at the pinnacle of mobile tech.

It's good to see some new phones announced, however I think they are quite bulky (both are 18 mm thick). They would probably be much slimmer and would look better if they were touchscreen monoblocks. |

^I'd like to see that "Plasma Flash" on Satio 2. According to this site http://www.plasma-i.com/photography.htm , it is better than Xenon Flash and can be used on both photo-taking and filming. That means better "camera flash" in less space. Fingers-crossed!

Special edition of Aino is named Aino classic.
What's so special about it? The price: Reduced by ~50€ due to the stripped package.
- No MH100 BT headset - just a standard wired stereo headset.
- No EC100 docking station - just a standard charger.
- No 8GB SD card - just a 2GB one.
Available in Germany from June, the "normal" Aino will go out of production.

Are there any pictures of the Aino classic?
Also, will the new Android have Fast port or micro USB? And what version of Android will it be running? (I hope 2.2)
