I guess it looks ok. I actually like the design more than when I posted my last post.
Would have been cool if the walkman logo lit up when using the music player, though.

Lacks any wow factor, too much of a w580 look alike people may get confused between two fones :S
Hopefully has somthing inovative like littel legs that pop from underneath and arms that make the phone dance
Anyway if w580 successor it will probs feature something new in walkman phones like w580i- Shake control |

I really dont like SE's slider-design. And the inclined bottom doesnt do anything for me. Just my opinion.. |

SE sliders have a more industrial/funky design.

I think it looks pretty good. I like the styling of it. Although I don't see why anyone would buy this over the w760i, unless this is a bunch cheaper. Why is the w760 not considered the w580 successor? |

The W760 is definitely a more logical W580 successor, but the W595, just like the W580 before it, is probably intended to be an AT&T phone in the States, thus the existence of the thing at all. The way I see it, the W580 and the W595 are a pair and the W760 is its own thing.
Speaking of which, what's up with the index? 595? I understand the 5s, but the 9? The only thing I can possibly reason is that the last 5 is for slider and the 9--since the middle spot is supposed to designate successor--is one higher than 8, though this is not nearly as neat and tidy as the phones starting at 0.
Goldenface: A UIQ Cyber-shot would be wonderful and something rumored for a long time. I wonder if we'll ever see it materialize. Probably not this month, unfortunately, if it is as Mizzle says and this is for music phones (which does, at the very least, lend itself to the appearance of the 16GB flagship).

That makes sense. I'd much rather see AT&T get the w760 than the w595 though, but it's really all about how much $$$ the consumers are willing to pay, and unfortunately in the US, as we all know too well by now, most people just want the free phone.
I too would love to see a Cyber-shot UIQ phone. If the p5i/p10/Paris/Hecaro/whatever that phone was/is/might be had a xenon flash and a decent processor, I'd be all about it. |
