Great work man! The driver is superb, but the cammera crashes sometimes when taking pics with many details (trees, grass...)
I have a W800/R1BC002. Any idea how to solve this? Whats the compress level of this driver? |

i have tried the 5.6 drivers, and found that 5.6c with adjusted contrast is the best for me as original 5.6c cause some overexposure when taking some white coloured object, 5.6c (adjusted contrast) has the best color, i have compared with 2.71, the 2.71 is a bit yellowish, while pic taken with 5.6c is a bit reddish, but i can live with that thanks for the awesome driver erzan can't wait for your 5.6u |

4.5 raw... no nothing +wind
it looks a little bit distorted after automatic resize but it still looks cool.
What I've noticed after trying a few drivers posted here is that indoor pictures and macros are much better now, but outdoor pictures still look the same and sometimes improving indoor pictures reduces far shot's quality.
Do you think its possible to make a unique driver with all those qualities?
I think we'll have to sacrifice something every time we choose a driver.
9.90 has amazing video recording and macro, but far shots are not that good. 2.4 is the oposite... And after trying both I still think outdoor pictures are the same..
We are aways comparing the drivers to the last driver posted but we're forgetting the orginal drivers wich are indeed better than some drivers posted here.
I'd like to see some serious comparison between the lastest drivers including the original drivers, like 4.5 for example.
I'd do that if I had the skill but its very hard for me to stay still while taking pics, thats why I take so long to compare drivers... have to fix the cam somewhere...
Would anyone do that for us please?

WOW the colors got by the 5.6c with the contrast adjusted are unbeliable, I always thougth that the w800's camera was in it's maximum capacity (I don't find the word, not english native speaker )...
But e_erzan has showed that we have a 2M Cybershot!!!!!

I was forgetting something.....
The new e_erzan's driver takes picturas without Noise wen the light is concentred in only one point and the background is dark....

great job e_erzan! I cant wait for your ultimate driver!
I think this driver is great in all aspects, but one, I still see the outdoor images a bit overexposure, this is the only thing that would can be better, I think.
anyway, this is only my opinion.
regards and sorry for my bad bad english! |

@Jemp
So does the original driver.
I've tested both 5.6c and 4.5 @ total dark, using nightmode and led. Results are the same.
Ill try outside shots tomorrow morning using both.
5.6c macro is much better tho.
The problem is sometimes it hangs when you use nightmode and try to take a picture of city lights from 11th floor of a building... too many details makes 5.6c crash sometimes...
Using w800 bc002 4.5/5.6c/9.90/2.4
