The Z3 is also equipped with high-resolution audio playback, and an upscaling engine called DSEE HX that upscaled low-res audio (whether that be from streaming services or files) to near hi-res audio, although you'll need a high-end set of headphones to feel the benefit.

IQ looks better than the Z2 and I don't see any softness around the edges which is impressive considering the focal length..
I am sure they will add it to their studio comp tool soon and we will see how it does against the GS5 and the 1520/930 .. should be much closer than the Z2. |

yeah, not worth an upgrade for those who already have the z2 or even the z1. i'm glad, though, that the new devices didn't turn out to be that much of a disappointment. |

the Z3 and Z3C to launch in the UK within weeks ? according to carphonewarehouse.com they expect both devices by the end of September.
