that chin definitely looks like a design mistake
everyone is looking to make screens larger and frames thinner ... not sony ericsson

The 'chin' will have a purpose whatever the point in it is, it wont just be a block of plastic.....also if the chin did not exist then the touch buttons would be far to close to the bottom edge of the phone, making it ergonomically uncomfortable to use. Wait till you hold it in your hand to judge whether it was a right move, I personally thing it looks amazing but I am more excited about getting the new UXP on my arc!

It's 8GB as it was a prototype. The retail version shouldn't be less than 16/32GB.

I am really excited to CES. Want to see it officially announced. If this thing get at least 16 Gb of internal memory (or 32 Gb, it the price don't get to high), I will buy it for sure. Almost in the launch. My uncle is going to US in April and I will ask him to bring it to me ASAP.

Since the picture doesn't tell me the real size I just measured the phones on the screen telling me
that Arc S measured 63mm and 'Nozomi' 64mm (Width). I also measured hight/length and that gave
me 125mm for Arc S and 126mm for Nozomi
The concave 'chin' on Arc makes it look smaller than it actually is. Nozomi is straight and makes it look
much bigger than it actually is.
Also Nozomis screen is 4.3""

i don't want to argue here if something is a good design or a bad design, but "make something to look big" is normally not a goal you want to achieve when designing a handset.
i'll wait for offically numbers on the length. to me your numbers look wrong, but this could be my mistake.

The usual 854x480 displays that are sharper than most others I am really looking forward to seeing this HD display from them  What's the internal storage for apps??
