Also zomgbbqftw:
I’ve held that one and it is only slightly larger than the HTC Sensation/One S. I would say around 5mm wider and 2mm taller. It has a 5" 1080p screen though vs a 4.3" qHD screen.

This is almost the same example as max did in the chat, max = zomgbbqftw ?

Okay, if they are both released in the same markets, which one would you go for? I'd personally go for the Yuga for the water/dust resistance, but Odin's IR blaster is so damn cool, and the phone looks AMAZING! (from what we can see so far at least - and that is only 1 shot so...)
And I hope they have the exact same screens, not like the Xperia T/TX fiasco.

I am going for Odin unless Sony delays it like XV. In that case I might get the Z. |

So I take it the water/dust resistance is something you are not that excited about? I suppose is someone is careful, they don't need to worry as much about that.
Remember when rog said it's a very good-looking device. Which device was he talking about at the time - Odin or Yuga? |

We're all still speculating. They both may not be launched in your country. So I say, try and love both of them, then get the one you get in your country
Btw..are the dimensions of Yuga and Odin leaked earlier still valid? Can someone post them again?
A simultaneous release is going to make things very confusing. I wouldn't know which one to get!

Z: 139x71x7.9mm
ZL: 131.6x69.7x9.8mm
I have no idea, how accurate these infos are at the moment...
Regarding Z or ZL, I am so confused right now .

Are those accurate? What I read was Sony C650X "Odin" - 131.6mm x 69.7mm x
9.8mm, Sony C660X Yuga -
at 138.6mm x 71mm x 8.1mm.
Which ones are correct?

Same exact story as 2012. At time 4.2 is released, there will be 4.3/5.0 already. Sigh... Sony never learns... I wonder if the 2012 line will get 4.2 directly, and even if 4.3/5.0
This is the bi9ggest and stupid excuse i ever read this year already.
Other phone manufactures don't reprogram those stuff for better optimization of the phone hardware, that's why it took some time to do this. |

Easy choice for me. I live in an area with lots of bad weather, so it'll definitely be Yuga/Z. A lot of days, especially during winter, I can't answer my phone outdoors (safely). |

Hold on - if Odin's volume rocker is at the top, then for changing the volume, Yuga should be easier to use with one hand...There were a lot of complaints about the T's volume rocker placement, but I think for Yuga placing it nearer to the bottom was the right idea and will be easy to use.
If only Yuga had that cool led...
I've never been one to complain about Sony releasing different but similar phones, but I can picture people saying how if the phones were combined they would have destroyed the opposition...(Odin led, Yuga resistance, Odin IR transmitter, and a size somewhere in between)...

The Xperia ZL is slated to get an IP57 certification, just like the Z. By the way, the earlier images of the Odin/ZL (a render and live photo) are either of a different phone or of an early prototype that didn't have the final design.

Does this mean Xperia ZL (Odin) is also water/dust proof?

Yuga must be having same led...but i think it's above the screen not down like Odin
only if Yuga had the IR Blaster
