Me too, I've emailed before formating it.

I noticed last night that the phone stops you taking pictures when the battery is low. I'm not sure if this has been added or not.

My Satio keeps rebooting all the time after the update - have the Vivaz hack since before, maybe it's because of that. Everything seems slower the few seconds the phone works.

I think we need to keep a record on what worked and what does not perhaps in a different post which is kinda updated to inform users what may happen and if is worth the risk.

Like a Q&A:

Does HelloOX2.03 work with R2AK006?

No, HelloOX2.03 would only work with R1CA037, So if you want to hack the phone and install Nokia aps, Don't upgrade until HelloOX updates.

I would like to confirm the following:

Does apps installed Under hacked R1CA037 still works AFTER UPgrade to R2AK006?

If yes, under what condition, can those apps still work with HelloOX turned off?

If you had HelloOX2 installed before upgrade, it should work after that, too.
Just donīt forget to keep yours settings (an option in updater).
After that, everything works like before upgrading. Hacking still possible.

Apps need HelloOX2 for install only. Once there, no need any.

Im very disapointed with all this.
It seems that SE work so hard this last 3 or 4months ... to give us UNHACKABLE firmware! They have read all these foruns for sure and did nothing about ppl issues with the phone, but instead, what they did was prevent people from using Nokia software on their phones!
All the issues seems to still there ... and all the missing things werent added. And their "conversations nicely integrated on messaging to inspire more with your friends" makes me laugh...who they are trying to fool by moving one existing application to the messages folder?

Well, if SE guys really read our posts they better be aware we know Symbian is now OPEN SOURCE, which means any one can develop it and on paper we have the rights to to use NOkia software developed for open source symbian, therefore the hack is very much legal with symbian going open source.

SE should know better, this game is not their PS3 or PSP, it is more like computer hardware / OS market. SE is in no position to launch something like samsung nor they are like Nokia, they need Fans like us to survive and if they make us less happy, they risk loosing more at the smartphone market, the only way up is to best iphone and level with nokia, the way to go is listen to what users want, there are no better marketers than your customers showing off your phone and make others wanna get one, that was part of the success factor of Iphones.

This is the age of smart phone, with hardware side of things equal, the OS is the key to victory.

Lets hope SE did Listen and keep up with other major symbian developers, since it is open source now, every body's bag of tricks must be revealed for others to study, it should be fair game!

Thanks for the tip, but i need more varification

Do you need to swtich off HelloOX hack or even unhack before update?
Or it can have all those functions turned on during update?

for those who has used Vivaz home screen mod (not me):
Does the hack applied BEFORE upgrade work after upgrade?

I hope fellow Satio comrades can put down more Facts in the post for the benefit of others.
Therefore if you can come up with a good Q&A, post it.

Thank you

i find it hard for people to say my satio is workig 100% fine, the bugs in the phone have been well documented,

yes day to day use is fine but you know thier are many things missing on this phone its not quite the final product it should be, its a real shame though because this is a killer phone!

im happy with my phone but even i keep checking everyday for the update - i want the small bugs fixed for good!

i only say this as ive used a few nokia phones and it feels a little crap to see the ui all perfect on thier phones!

+1 yes i agree

i think SE have released a beta update for a few regions and networks as they want to get feedback and they will then probably release the main update next week to most people (if that is possible some how; could be a new strategy by them)
