Actually that sounded like whoever was put in front of their fb page for the day knows jack about what updates are coming and is referring to the products blog for IF there is an update coming rather than WHEN.

Bullshit. While I do agree that the W8 MIGHT mean that there is 2.3 coming for X8 because the phones are largely identical (which could in my view also mean that the W8 simply won't get any newer Android version), that Facebook post says absolutely nothing. I can imagine X10 mini pro getting some bugfixes with an update, which the dude behind the Facebook account might be referring to. |

Before the Arc was announced some members here complained about the spec, it wasn't powerful enough etc. So I think it's quite nice to see that TechRadar has crowned the Xperia Arc as the best mobile phone yesterday!

No, there won't. That's a completely wrong interpretation of what is stated there. First, he said "Sony" which isn't "Sony Ericsson". Second, the interview was held on the day the Sony tablet leaked, and that's what he's referring to. And probably he was not referring to it as being true, but just as the leak. After all he's a Sony Ericsson guy, and they have little to do with Sony. (and I talked to him the same day and he told me it was new to him, too) |
