Thanks!! Well,I use auto rarely but in sunlight just use the outdoor white balance. Also, this may seem a little odd but alot of people do this. Even distant shots I take in macro mode. It does not make sense but for some reason all shots taken in macro distance or close come out sharper. Try to use a steady hand & just look around you at the available light. Make sure the sun is behind you, clean your lens,I leave capturing mode on normal not scene selector & leave image stabiliser off. Sounds odd but it makes things better. Cannot think of anything else but have a steady hand & look at the light around you.

Original
My brothers car. I do find however that photos look better on my pc & are more grainy when uploaded here By the way my Pro is still solid as a rock build wise after more than a week

Regarding this pics...

1. Xperia mini pro uses 5 MP Exmor R for mobile ver. ( I never read or heard of such sensor)OR..
2. Xperia mini pro uses SAME SENSOR 8 MP EXMOR R Ver. 1 for mobile.. same as xperia arc, Neo, Ray.. etc BUT IS VIRTUALlY downsized to 5 MP..

Is my point of view. I cannot be sure because I haven't and arc and an xperia mini pro to tear down and look for image sensors, but i believe that have same 8 MP EXMOR Mobile V.1 sensor like big xperia brothers but have virtually downsised to 5 Mp. It is much probably in my opinion..

This unit is not bad at all.... It is great for running using Runkeeper program too. I was able to return my GPS watch and just use this device too, due to its compact size.

i purchased a mini pro for my friend. and i must say its very fast and smooth than neo and ARC.. no problem with the build, audio quality is very good. screen sunlight legibility is excellent. overall its a wonderful unit. i somewhat hate the Home button. which either could've been softer or a touch button. probably it will strongly compete with HTC wildfire S and definitely win. but wildfire S might already ate some of the market of the mini's segement.

Even thenew Wildfire S isn't competition spec wise, the Mini/Mini Pro are as powerful as a DesireHD/Arc, they are the best value for money Androids available IMO, SE hit the nail on the head with them, I just hope their marketing is as good, they have always sucked at marketing, their new ad with Xperai Arc and Neo is okay but just isn't impactful at all.

I agree, the mini pro is very capable device. I have a Sony Arc that I every day as well and both are very similar in terms of horsepower. But I do think the Mini is still smoother in terms UI for some reason.
