huiyi: The Xperia Z will come like that when you buy it? Or is that the 4.2 firmware? |

i already have news that it 'll be OS inside OS at first
and sooner 'll be appear
honestly with no single lie it 'll be on the 2H.2013 flagship
the vita OS inside the Android OS
as an icon when you open it it will open the totally different PS-OS
for games and 'll be added some other apps
Hmmmmm... I REALLY want to believe you as I want a Vita phone, but more evidence will be necessary to convince me this will be coming so soon.
movkit:
Come on, not this vita discussion again. It will never happen. The psp vita has been a huge flop, why would they want to make a phone out of a product that barely sells. Even if the vita was a huge success it would be hard in this crowded mobile market.
They would want to make a phone out of it because it promotes their own home grown OS, their own services and their own games... it's the absolute best scenario for Sony to make money. The Vita COULD be more succssful, but just because its sales have been a bit lackluster doesn't mean they're going to give up on it and won't try to build upon it.
REALLY hoping for a fully fledged Vita phone eventually. If maiaramdans info about Vita OS on Android is true, it will at least help to build the userbase up considerably. As for entering a crowded marketplace, iOS and Android don't have games anywhere on the level of Vita games as they have to cater to more simplistic control schemes and generally have far smaller production budgets. |

XPERIA Z The new firmware
The on screen buttons in this pic are transparent. Is it by default on Xperia Z or is it a custom firmware?
i love the transparent behind the on screen buttons! much better than the black bar like on Xperia V, i hope this is by default!!
YES Default

I too want to know if older handsets will get the transparent system features and other features like the extended battery management with individual app control. I don't want to miss out on the cool stuff on my TX, even if I am going to get Xperia Z.

Shouldn't the phablet be overclocked slightly? (if it uses the s4 pro). Are the rumours of 1.5ghz quad up to date?
MSM8974... :-D
The same clock as the MSM8974 in the 2H flagship? Just curious. |

So guys... My trusty old xperia X10 has served me well for 3 years now and is still going strong... A bit of lag every now and then builds up which is fixed by reinstalling the firmware... But the screen scratches are now getting a bit irritating.
So what's the verdict guys - Xperia Z - To buy or not to buy?
- Oog.
Sony all the way |
