Isn't having the option of 1X and 3X better than having no option at all having to use 1X all the time)? 
Or did you mean the sharp phone is stuck at 3X all the time? If that is the case, then it sucks...

ain't  a little late this year??
coz there's no high-end mobile for the 1Q and i don't think there will be a high-end for 2Q
nokia have lot's of graet mobile's and lot's of them have stereo speaker
should put stereo speaker in every  mobile
hope to see some new high-end mobile in market soon
btw why are most of the rumour's or info's are about sofia and elena ??
nothing about any other mobiles? |

they do support gradual optical zoom starting from Sharp 910SH just that they're never released outside Japan |

Do we have no rumours on when the next announcement is? have really tightened up their security if we haven't had any spy pics, specs or announcment rumours for so long. Hopefully they'll surprise everyone with the announcement just they did when they announced the K810, only with much better features  |

The date April 15th keeps cropping up. Lets wait and see what happens then.
We don't know if it will be a single announcement or a multi-device. Hopefully the latter.

SE This year is a whole lot different then SE of the past. Before we always had spy pics and some specs before the product was announced by at least a few weeks.
This year,no info until SE decides to announce the product. Good move for SE, bad for people on this board. |

Well the Problem with April 14/15 is that is Saturday and Sunday, respectively. They would not announce new products on the weekend. Some people are saying April 9/10 the Monday or Tuesday before that. |

have made a lot of strategic changes so far this year.
Last year all announcements except the feb 13th one, were made either tuesday or thursday, all years before 2007 we had announcements the tuesday the week before cebit, every year we had spy pics and specs months in advance, etc ...
This year seems to break traditions doing stuff we didn't think the company would, and we don't have much to go on, so what makes u think they won't do announcements on a sunday?
I bet there was probably some stupid over at that felt were being a bit too much predictable that felt things had to change, and we just have to live with it ;]
Maybe 's slogan for this year is "I why not?" :]
Edit: Now that I think of it, W880 was previewded on january 7th, a saturday.

This is my first post in this topic. I was reading your posts and found you've got an obssesion about , rumours, spy photos and specs This way or that way (I mean hating or loving).
I was reading as usual www.uiq.com and found there an information about "Smartphone summit". There is a link:

It's in Orlando, FL and starts on March 26th and ends on March 29th.
Maybe there is some posibility that will announce something there? With UIQ 3.0/3.1 of course.
