i dont think its plastic, for me it looks like metallic. the keys under the red and green button looks to touchscreen. and i think the speaker is under the navigation-button like the w580. |

I think it looks plastic because it has a clear plastic cover around it which can clearly be seen! It looks ok, not great though. And I sure hope that bulge has some kind of function, other than looking nasty.
Regarding the above picture, I believe that's just a W960i.

this phone is low-end, no flash, no AF, and probably 1.3MP, small and light weight

That picture is a W960i anyway.

Id agree with you, but the positioning of the buttons doesnt seem to be the same. It COULD be another handset altogether (Paris? Beibei?). I dont see why the W960 successor shouldnt look like the W960 itself, as the W960 looks amazing.
But yes, to me that looks like the W960 and the Z555, but what they are doing there with an unreleased model I dont know...

another low end slider from SE. no autofocus, no flash, to much drugs when making the design.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA |

There'll be no more S-series known as a slider series. S stands for Snapshot and is the lower end series to cybershot
This device will have a 3 or 5 in the end of its index and a 0 in the middle.
Since it's a low end it'll have 1,2,3 as first index. It's neither a walkman nor Cybershot phone.
It may be a Snapshot one - so called S-Series phone.
Probably it'll be called S305 or S303 or the both S105/S103 or S205/S203 variants.
That's the new nomenclature of the following SE-phones.
If anyone is firm in german http://www.se-world.info/thre[....]enden-Modellen.html#post673595
This is the explanation of the new nomenclature in german...it'll follow soon in english on USEB

Very interesting, indeed. With this new naming strategy, SE won't be running out of numbers soon.

S303 sounds good! I know about another Sony Ericsson phone - T303.

They're changing the S-series again? First Swivel, then Slider, now Snapshot?
Ugh.
I'm more interested in the phone to the left. It is definitely not a W960 as the white band on the 960 doesn't extend that far (at least according to the photo comparison I did on the fly).
