Not sure why people are extra pumped about Tegra. The OMAP3 uses a newer processor than the Tegra. The two main things that are supposed to be Tegra's USP are superior GPU and better battery life. I wouldn't dispute them, but we'll have to wait and see.
Snapdragon uses an older processor too, but is supposedly the most powerful and energy efficient of them all.
The point is, Fluid UIs can be a reality with any of these three platforms. Hell, the Hero uses the X1s platform and the UI was one of the smoothest I've ever seen. |

I don't think it will be too soon anyway, I would be surprised if it were this year since I have heard nothing of it.
Walkmans are floating about, some mid end models to come soon hopefully, no idea about any high end though. I know of a high end Cybershot which is due, Nokia will give us a 12MP phone before the end of the year. I have been told that it takes stunning pictures and there is something that puts it above its competitors, optical zoom maybe? Anyhow, Carl Zeiss are doing the lens.
Its very tight at  with some of their phones so my source tells me that certain phones are around that he cannot say anything about. The X2 leak was fine as people were expecting it, other phones like Satio are totally unexpected hence the lack of info. I'm saying that have more phones that will surprise and there are a number of these which will be announced throughout the year. Nokia and HTC have shown their roadmaps so i've seen a few of their protos already.
On the smartphone side, I have heard that a few companies are using nVidia Tegra and these will come quite soon actually. Its not just HTC, others will be using it in their feature phones. HTC should have it out first and you guys will love it because there is no lag at all for example, on WinMo 6.5 which I saw on test. HTC will be doing a beautiful TF3d to go with this. I will be first in line for this phone. should join in if they are not already part of it. Imagine Walkman player like the ZuneHD interface, others will be doing it so its time to join the bandwagon.

Sony ericsson appear to be desprate to release there latest phones and gain market share, the Aino will be released in July http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/news/coming-soon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The W995 appears to be bug-free at this stage so if they can bring Aino's release date forward, and ensure it is also bug-free, then all the better. The competition is fierce.
Plus, if what Badassman says is true then it sounds like they are making room for more announcements/releases later on this year.
Lets hope so.

Looks like they have strengthened that flip somewhat doesn't it? I always said it was a good design and we do like the flip phones, don't we?
