I'm personally abit sick of all the SE dumbphones. It's always the same. No touchscreens, no smartphones (that don't cost the earth or aren't datted, laggy or buggy). It's getting old now, especially now that I know Hikaru probably should have been released a couple of years ago, given the specs on SEMC Blog. I'm going to start to look elsewhere, but I will also see what February will bring. |

^^^ What? kokura will not be SF? Android? Not good A-series doesn't attract me anymore everytime SE improves the UI at the same time they degrade the hardware (K800 has 230Mhz CPU then K850 degraded to 156Mhz) i won't expect much from that UI platform esp. that they keep using weak hardware i hope SE learns their previous lessons alot.
Whoa...hold on, there. The "A300" was just a wild and unsubstantiated guess by another member. The only Kokura rumor thus far has it running S60 5.0. And using an OMAP 3430.
Of course, that could be wrong or change, and it would be unfortunate if it does.
That said, as far as "dumbphones" go, I think SE makes some of the better ones.
ETA: Just read a little on se-world.info. It seems, in addition to Kokura, there is also a C915 (C905 successor) that is also 12MP. So there may be a dumbphone and smartphone 12MP Cyber-shot this year.

Wow, that is special
IMO, kate is just a mid range candybar to renew the portfolio a bit, such as the most mid-range phones are. |

Yeah, low/midrange phones are never revolutionary or meant to be. |

And when do we finally see 3.5mm jack and VGA 30fp/s video recording????

It's funny about Kate. A while ago didn't Komiyama say that there wouldn't be any more Cyber-shot phones with weak cameras (like below 5MP)? Yet they still give us Kate. I must admit though, Kate does look a lot better those photos rather than the poor renders we saw a while back!

No battery icon on C510?
Shocking. Discuss. |

same as c905. when you press down to add a pic, smiley, etc., the battery icon disappears.
