@shaliron. How sure are you 28th may? Hope its not due to the mail about hbh d200. Because i do hope its earlier. Se might just give themselve buffer in holding back fcc from revealing before anything arise.
lol shall I save you the hassle of dissapointment and bring out the next date for everyone to pin their hopes on......

Well, crap--regardless of when the next SE announcement is, I'm going to be in Europe on vacation. Maybe I can find an Internet cafe and catch up on the news.
I'm actually more excited for Shinobu than Sofia--although that may change when official specs are released. |

I'm also more excited about Sinobu than Sofia. Having owned both a WALKMAN and a Cyber-shot phone, I have to say, music's more important to me. I've been doing a lot more music listenin' than picture takin' on my CS phone. Good thing it performs decently on both fronts. I would be a bit worried if Shinobu is finally 2MP. That's just too little. Specially if Sofia comes with W player V 3.0. Then I'd get the best of both worlds...

My main reason for liking Shinobu more (at this stage) is that I already have a K790--and if I were to get Sofia, it would be rendered almost useless, and I still want to be able to use the thing (I paid good money for it, after all).
Again, once official specs are released...I may have a change of heart. |

the reason I question him is I hope he is not referring to the may 28 hold back date in FCC for SE HBH-DS200.....tht might not be the absolute date.
I think before you say this is not true...you btter start reading other thread.....unless SE failed to announced by may 28 (may 29 in some europe and asia country)....else tht will be the last day for FCC to on hold the detail info for that bluetooth headset.
You think SE will let FCC do the unofficial announcement for them before SE done their announcement?
If they failed to make any announcement....either they will ask FCC to hold on to the info release or they will just let FCC reveal whatever they planned to reveal.
go read what I attached below.

I saw that. Interesting point. But remember if its being released September/October time then June/July would be an appropriate time.
Apple announced the iphone how many months ago and its only been FCC approved recently. |

I don't think the FCC makes any announcement, the document states that all the info must be kept confidential. After that, when the date is passed, I'm guessing anyone can access the info about the device but the FCC won't be doing any announcement or anything like that, they're just free to give specs when asked (which is still good enough for me). |

yup they will release everything....actually tht's what i mean...not tht FCC going to make an announcement...but they just release stuff for public viewing.
But at most of the time....stuff whcih FCC start loaded into this sites shows the product already reviewed and approved to have meet FCC requirement.
remember a few yrs back we always see new Nokia and SE product before those company announced...and FCC becoming a source of leaked info.
so now they seem to stop that.
now...if SE cannot announce it on 28th May.....it will either let FCC release everything or they make another request to keep on stopping any document being released.
most of the time like K550 or W610....they come into the market soon after FCC info is posted at FCC site....so I believe so far...the accs which lead to this assumption of 28 May being the next announcement date will have a very fast time to the market. |

I certainly do hope the announcement is the 28th of May
