32GB is no way enough Memory have that on my X10 only have 2gb left, with built in Memory you should have the option for 32GB minimum then 64Gb, 96GB and even 128GB any idea how much 1080P would need to Record? A Lot....

@Koss,i think that you are overreacting here...32gb built-in storage is more than enough for a mobile phone!Iphone sells millions with just 8gb or 16gb.It's better than galaxy s2(screen/camera) and the processor is quite zippy(not as zippy as exynos, gpu wise). It appears for the first time in many years Sony wont overprice their product(less than 500eur).If u look at SE best sellers they never had the most cutting edge technology, they were just good all-around phones, with great design and reasonable price. We cant judge photo quality from just a prototype. All in all,the presence of xperia S makes absolutely sense. It's a phone targeted for the high-end market for the first half of 2012,and then targeting the mid-range market for the second half of 2012.

@Koss
It take lovely images and you won't be able to resist its charms when you have it in your hands. Its a really pretty and well made device. If you don't like it, just wait another 6 months or so.
For Sony to ditch engineers and staff would be suicide because the last mobile Sony made was way back in the late 90's maybe. know how to do it and have been doing it for a while now. Think of it like Sony giving a proper direction and focus i.e. make a 12MP phone then Sony say, 'make it 16MP, here are the funds, we want it to fit this design (or whatever)'. Sony can boss them but have their own structure and can say to Sony, 'this is not possible or the phone will become too fat or it is too expensive to produce' etc. The bottom line is this bail out or whatever you want to call it is to get them back into making a profit. Technically, they could have a phone with Tegra 3, 16MP and projector, 100GB memory etc. but that won't make anyone a profit. |

There is no way to please everyone.
If Sony would make a phone with 64GB than people would complain
that it is to much and makes the phone more expensive. |

Well there would be a way.. just add a microSD slot. From what I've seen, there's plenty of space next to the battery beneath the back cover.

@Aurelius the way I see Mobile Phones now and in future is when ur out and about. You want to see a video you record Or listen to any tune at a particular time or location or a picture you can that's what Mobile is all about its not a Desktop pc I keep everything on it if I can, it's a shame my music alone is like 32GB. And I believe in Quality too if I Could I'll have my music at cd quality. |

good to see ericsson still being innovative
"transmitting by using your body as connection"
just sad they have no "brand" to release this technology

Anybody got any info about what's coming at MWC?
I get the feeling the real show stopper is going to be there. For us Europeans there was only Xperia S at CES. MWC will have to bring a few other handsets.
I'm thinking a few mid-range but they can't show just mid-range or they'll get slated by everyone and get no action in their stand, so one high-end perhaps this mystery 5" monster that's run the rumour rounds.
I have a dig bick You read that wrong |

One more high end device, one or two more mid end and maybe one low end.
I don't get people. Never Have, never will. |

Yeah, but I think the international flagship for the first half is still going to be the Xperia S.

Nordichardware talked with qualcomm and they said they expect s4 processors in phones coming this summer, earliest. So I guess it wasnt such a bad move to have s3 by S(E), they simply had no other choice. Im hoping for a krait phone late summer though!
Nypon will be the Sony phone to have, at least first half of the year |
