Z3 users, I'm planning to buy a new phone and I'm a solid sony fan since I got my first phone but recently I'm starting to think to jump to Lg/Htc due to some issues about the z series like waterproof, jack, glass-cracking issues. I know some of this are isolated cases but what really put me off is the camera lens getting scratched easily which I have read in xda forums (xperia z3 compact). Is this the same case with the Z3? I know the Z3 compact have plastic back unlike the Z3. The people at XDA seems to have no idea that the Z3 compact have plastic back which is probably the same that is used on the camera lens.
Right now I'm torn between Z3 compact, Z3, Lg G3 and HTC.
Your reply would surely be appreciated. I just don't want to have my cash wasted as I will use this for 2 to 3 years.

@shino. Please don't waste your money on a HTC. If you switch brands, LG is doing pretty well.

@Shino03
Of the older flagship generation, I would still stick to the Sony Xperia Z3 or compact and protect them with case and protection film.
Of the new flagships, HTC M9 is uninteresting compared to the LG G4.

Pulled the trigger on a new z3 dual today to replace my Z1, if a better flagship comes in fall I will sell the z3 but if it doesn't live up to the hype, then the Z3 should be plenty for at least another year or 2. |

5.1.1 it seems, hopefully arrives soon, my Z3 dual still is missing the all clear button and has a few bugs. |
