Very true.

I'm having fun poking around in se-world. I wish Google did a better job translating.

Don't hit the self-destruct button!

Lol, yeah its fairly easy to get the idea of whats being said with only a slight knowledge of the language.

@Oli: It probably would be easier to read it in its native German, given the two languages are so similar. I was able to travel all around Europe without once cracking open a language guide.

I do like how everyone on se-world (in the Paris thread) seems to be very upbeat, while the general atmosphere here at times seems to be preparing for the next wave of disappointment.

@PK: Start writing your review, dude.

Looks like a candybar. Wasn't it supposed to be a flip? Or did I make that up?

Anyway, looks cool. What are the two buttons above and below the dpad (joystick?)?

Lol, you're looking at the D-pad wrong. The two buttons are the up and down buttons. Look to the left and right for the left and right buttons in black, which are rocker keys that link with the call/call end keys. Then the black key in the middle is the confirming key.

I seem to remember something about Emilie being a flip too...
Maybe an early rumour.

I believe someone made it up. Don't know why - I even wrote at the blog it's a candy bar.

Oh, I see that now. Unconventional design to say the least.

Yeah, I can see how it confused you! I like it, at least it's something different in a phone whose features likely are nothing new.

Just a question for clarification...

Seems Paris will likely run UIQ 3.3. If i remember correctly from reading this thread, some users were expressing concern about UIQ 3.3 supporting flash lite?

Does it? I did a quick search on UIQ.com and had no results. So I won't be able to view flash content with Paris? I would think this is a major flaw... and I refuse to believe this until it's confirmed by an informed source.

even UIQ 3.0 can support flash IF they license it,...so, it can appear on UIQ 3.3 (and 3.0), or not...i think it will
