no i am not shaliron but like the person.
i would love to have a VGA 16million color but still,.. i think that the P3 will have a VGA 262k color screen. and if i was the designer of the P3 i would use a VGA 262k color one.(i don't know why)
and just a side note:
and do you know that the best human eyes can filter only 100k colors from eachother, but the reason behind of you don't see a solarized view from your eyes is because of the superb resolution of the eye. (about +60MP; i know that the eye is analog. it's just an estimation).
the 18bit color is clearly visible on a QVGA one but on a VGA, it has not such a bad effect.

It couldn't be VGA screen, sicne i understand from the photo,its screen lilke 16:9 aspect ratio not 4:3, VGA (640*480) is 4:3. QVGA (320*240)is now most adopted. Plus, VGA screen will be very sharp to look at, if the screen is not big enough.

The slow-motion thing is really nice feature.Comparing it to what K850 can do, it is way better and more innovative as well. No other phone is capable of doing that. Not even digital cameras.
I don't think it would hurt SE's pocket if they add that too. It's just some kind of tweaks.

I got some new info's about P3i. According to my source, P3i has quite similar casing as HTC touch and is a really compact slider. Scroll wheel is replaced by d-pad that double as navigation wheel.
He also mentioned something about the interface. He said the interface is almost as good as I-phone's.
His overall impression about P3i is that, it is a pretty decent device for its class but for someone who's looking for more could choose Nokia's (if they prefer S60) or Motorola's (UIQ) solutions. |

I don't know what the hell that thing above is meant to be, it might be the P3i but frankly, since there's virtually nothing to look at, who cares.
For me, it's still obvious that the phone shown here is the real P3i - http://www.a site/rumours/sony-ericsson-p3i-concept/ (replace "a.site" in that link with s e f a n a t i c s.com, apparently I'm not allowed to link there)- I know people are claiming it's a "concept" (SE Fanatics even credit it to somebody here) but that just doesn't look like a concept to me. That looks like a very real mockup. It also combines the large screen and flip with the P1-style keyboard, without looking like another calculator - in fact it manages to have a whole new style of its own, and hasn't just been photoshopped out of existing designs. That's what makes it convincing in my eyes.
As for the above, well the menu looks UIQ-like, but the dial beneath (or to the right) of the screen looks like a Moto. Could this just be another RIZR variant?

really!!
if you look at my earlier posts on the 2007 huge portfolio.
i brought this reason to prove that the photo that you are using as your source! is fake.
of course that the screen on that concept has a 16:9 aspect ratio but if the screen wanna be VGA (as it is mentioned by more people around and it is a more standard aspect ratio) it should have a 3:4 aspect ratio.
and experience shows that always leaked specs are more reliable than concept pics.
and i think that i have seen a QVGA screen. and beacause i am a digital electronics eng. i think i now a little about screen resolusions and their aspect ratios. so seeing a QVGA sample ..... m.....mmm.. won't help much.
but thank you for noticing that. as i saw no people here that comment about this point. |

For my money, the hardware pictures are real. They are the P3, or at least the nearest there is to a working prototype. The screenshots, on the other hand, could be absolutely anything - most likely from another phone entirely. The round joypad/dial thing visible (but poorly hacked out of your version above) looks more like Motorola than SE, and certainly not like anything I'd expect to see on a P series.
