DID YOU KNOW?
the sony ericsson G900 has the multi shot technology which allows you to take shots without moving your finger from the shutter button....
that means that you can take pictures at the speed of your fingers....
me??
i can press the shutter 10 times in a second= 10 shots in a second... now i go and preview them. |

Don't want to sound like a moron but missing
- Jog Dial
- HSDPA capability
- integrated GPS
are real let-downs for me.
Seems SE is loosing faith in UIQ's sustainability.
Sad.

I think you have mis-read the specs, the GPS functionality is an optional add-on, i.e. an extra bit of kit you need to buy.
For me personally, I think the G900 will be my next handset. The X1 is very nice, but I think it will be a long time before it arrives, and I expect it to be very expensive.
The deciding factors for me were the 5MP camera and the wifi capability of the G900.

the screen is too small for a touch finger screen......
well may be the shouldn't emphasize on the touch screen, instead its ability to organize things
nowadays, touch screen become standard procedures and it's highly separated from a device........i'm very much used to a touch screen so having one without it may not be a good choice
so even the simplest thing like G900 with a touchscreen is a great thing!

can any wane confirm UIQ on G900. i don't know is something strange here. it seems to me more like SE operating system designed to look like UIQ and to accommodate touch.
ARES you know with certainty that is UIQ, or you hope it is UIQ? |

I believe this is UIQ 3.2. Same operating system as on BeiBei, and a new firmware is planned to be released for P1 / W960 with UIQ 3.2
