I remember that time crossmatched and i were texting each other for the latest update on MWC. we did not almost sleep the whole night waiting for the advent of the big ideas SE is bragging for. its safe to say that the next xperia will surely see the daylight during that big event. i wish they would use the snapdragon platform.

Yes and hopefully it won't take so long to reach the shelves this time around.
I doubt we will see another WM Xperia so soon as I seem to remember reading something about SE planning on making devices that end-users would want to keep for rather more than a year and with more 18 - month contracts meaning a longer time between upgrades I can see this happening.
A SE S60 device would be more likely IMO.

I agree. I think we will see an SE S60 device which will probably be an XPERIA and perhaps even the P1i replacement we've all been waiting to see!

I think we all saw that one. Thanx for the link, though
I also think they will show the next XPERIA on MWC, and some other really nice devices.
I wanna go to MWC..... I'll have to do with CeBIT, though |

Sony has announced three new Exmor CMOS (5.15, 8.11, 12.25).
I am sure one, if not all three will end up in SE phones.

Thanks to Waschbär Rocky at SE-World, we can now solve the sentences by prudent.
Well Hicaru is interesting with these aspects:
* One feature has been copied from N96
* One feature that has been accused of missing from Walkman for a long time now
* Screen size has been changed in positive aspects
What is the fuzz with Hicaru being an UIQ device? I dont get that.
Copied from N96: The kickstand.
Missing from Walkman: 3.5mm jack.
Screen size: 2.6". |

Imo SE took center stage at MWC '08. X1 anouncement eclipsed every other handset announced.
I was on duty at the hospital back then and i stayed up til 3 am just to get 1st hand info and be a part of the esato vigil. razec who is sleeping at that time gets updated asap.
If in 2007, nokia ruled with their n95 all-in-one smartphone, then this year samsung wowed the mobile world with innov8, i hope in 2009 it will be SE's turn to showcase a breakthrough, revolutionary superphone. Something akin to what we hoped paris/p5 superphone should have been.
Lesser in quantity but more in quality is a better tactic imo for SE next year.

I agree. However, there is so much more competition this time around.
Samsung is intent on stealing the thunder of any phone that comes along but I think the design of their phones lets them down big time.
Can't wait for MWC now!

Is that a typo? How is 2.6" a positive change in screen size? I always thought bigger screens were better for smart phones.

How has the screen size changed in positive aspects? Paris was going to be 2.6" and Hikaru is still 2.6". |
