Old thread but it got a mention in another thread today so...
ok, I'm not an agony aunt as suggested here
I'm actually an IT contractor (I say mercenary since I generally go to the highest payer!) and generally work for the big names like BHP (oz), Cable & Wireless (carribean) and currently the German/Swiss futures exchange (Deutsche Boerse) in Frankfurt.
Qualified pilot, divemaster and masseur/reflexologist (hence my name here!) so when I get fed up of the IT crap I'll probably do one of those.... trouble is none pay as good as IT so I guess I'm stuck with it!

I am a lawyer (the esato username is just a hint) and also an USAID translator. Thus I've been involved with numerous US-Romanian NGOs/partnerships involved in child and family welfare (a critical issue in Romania and a key requirement for our admission to the UE). Would love to be a rallye pilot (I drive as one as well - to my girfriend's despair). Still trying to do something meaningful with my life...

Currently? I am a tourist guide to my relatives. Ahehe. But, professionally speaking, a freelance assistant director for film and television commercials.
