Well, the only thing I can hope is that it doesn't take them eight months to get it on the market.... |

Eldar just stated in his latest podcast that SE is going to show 6-7 new phones at MWC, including the Xperia X1 successor
From today's info i got there will be 7 if they they don't decide to cancel/add in last moment something. |

Well, it is not. 3 of them we already know and the rest of them should save the day |

I would snatch up either C903 or C901 if they had wifi.
So we know:
Xperia Succesor
C903
C901
W395
That just leaves 3 more phones left to guess.
maybe another mid-high end walkman
One low end phone.
And Im praying for an 8MP candybar

Pretty sure just a typo and talking about the recently leaked W395.
Edit: Oops, to slow...
I´m kinda excited about the next Xperia, not that I consider getting one, just spec-wise. They hopefully dealt with the greatest shortcomings.

At least 2 juicy high-end phones will be announced.
(not counting the C901 and C903, of course)

I have been told that there are two new Xperias in existance, one for MWB and the other later this year at the same sort of time as X1 (if all goes to plan). Apparently, there is a dual slider but it could be strictly for testing and nothing to do with the 2009 portfolio. The same goes for a touchscreen Cybershot. They may be described as test mules, no idea if they are following on with these or not.
HTC are doing big screens. Nokia are doing high end touchscreens and putting qwertys on everything. The one to watch from them is their true N95 successor i.e. not a rehash of the same phone but something that has literally everything crammed into it. The word is that the Nokia 8MP phone takes stunning pictures. Samsung are looking to do plenty of touchscreens as well and are giving quality cameras with many of their phones. No idea if this is in relation to MWC though.
WinMo 6.5 is meant to be more finger friendly with menus and more of the phone functions which would be good for as they will do more with WinMo. It has this honeycomb menu thing. Not sure if it is the same when you get into the applications. |
