Today, when I've tried to save a contact in my Xperia ray, I've got the message Sorry! The application Contacts has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again! And the only option was the forced close.
I've tried to reboot the phone, but I still can't save any new number. The phonebook functions and 2-3 weeks ago I've saved new contacts, but now it's impossible.
Please somebody help me ASAP! |

Have you tried connecting to SEUS (if that still exists) or PC Companion and doing a FW repair? That may help. Or are you Rooted and running a custom ROM?

No, mine has the original 2.3 android on it. With Seus is just possible the firmware update and so I would get the even more buggy ICS. |

As I see it, there could be two possible reasons for this:
- you are out of free space on your internal storage
- something is wrong with the integrity of your contacts data
What you can try to do:
1. Backup (sync) your contacts/phone book with your Google account, if not already synced.
2. Clear the data for the "Contacts" app.
3. Sync again with Google to restore your existing contacts to your phone.
4. Try to add the new contact again. |

The glass cover to the lens seems to have gone ... a bit odd. I don't think it's scratched, more like there's a coating on it that's gone oddly patchy. Anyone else have this ? Annoyingly it's part of the phone rather than the back case, which has a cut-out for this lens cover / outer element, so you can't just get a new back to fix it. |

Anyone know where the official Sony ICS update has gone ? I remember being offered it by the Sony PC software shortly after it came out, but no sign of Sony PC Companion doing so now as far as I can see, it claims the software is up to date. I'm on 2.3.4 and Strava is crashing so often I thought I'd try ICS even if it meant some performance issues elsewhere (I'm so short of space and out of date now that I don't really run much else, and frankly it's worth the gamble - worst case scenario is it confirms I need to buy a new phone, which is kinda true anyway). |

Nice little flashback comparison video. I was surprised at some of the Ray shots. Especially the flower.
