kwanying, you've got the full SEUS dump but I can't see any files which are around 350 or 450 bytes.

The files in the .rar above are exactly the same as the ones in my blob_fs folder, after I ran SEUS with my branded Orange UK W950i. There are 4 files below 1kb, but none around 350 or 450 bytes... Have i done something wrong? |

lukeholl, sounds like the files for the W950 are a bit larger, will need someone to work out which two files need to be swapped.

If it's so, then it should accept the original sim card it was intended for. Should have no problem detecting network/sim because nothing has been done to change the lock/unlock state.
I have tried and tried but all the locks are closed and will not flash to any other fw version |

SE Freak, as Sainty said, changing your firmware does not change your device lock state. Maybe your phone came originally locked so you have to unlock it using other method. Changing firmware using this way only debrand the phone not unlock it. |

Ok, the phone should not have locked the phone when i done the CDA change but it has due to some reason or another but the question is how would i unlock the phone to get it working?
Could i use KK to do it or does that just change firmware? |

From what I know, using KK will not unlock your phone because it only change your CDA code to be able to reflash using other CDA's firmware.
To unlock, maybe you have to bring it to service center or getting an unlock code from your provider. |

KK just changes the firmware, SETool would work but is expensive.

don't work on my second p990 (t-mobile fw)
EDIT: new firmware don't accept my old sim card, with new sim card works good

Hi all,
Just to help make this easier as there appear to be a few files similar in size in the blob directory.
1. Uninstall SEUS completely
2. Reinstall SEUS
3. Run SEUS and allow it to update itself
4. Open windows explorer and browse to the blob_fs directory and scroll to the end of the list of files and highlight the bottom one
5. Leave windows explorer open and flash your phone
6. In the explorer window you will now see additional files below the last one you highlighted - these are the new SEUS files that match your phone - there should only be 2 sub 1k files there so it shouldn't be hard to work out the ones you need to swap.
Hope this helps make life easier.
