well 808/ eos will be no. 1 in camera
currently 920 is second...
Honami should have second place....
Third place is not good enough...
AbhiD999.... I think ramu posted abt Sony manufacturing 808 sensor...

808's sensor is produced by Toshiba, and I think EOS will use the same chip as its predecessor besides I'll save my judgments over the ranking once EOS and Honami are officially unveiled to the public. To be honest, I find this claim that EOS's camera will be the best pretty sensational and biased, There's alot of potential on new Sony sensors especially the one that will be used by Honami.

I don't even think 920 is in second place. And saying EOS will be no. 1 without having seen how it performs just pretty much collapses your argument, though right now 808 is at the top. |

i just hope u r kidding dude..!
Honami with 1/1.5 sensor + 2.xx micron pixel size + suggested oversampling/pixel binning + xenon flash will beat the shit out of 920/928 !!!
btw 920 & 928 have customised sony exmor r sensors... it's d magic of sony, nokia is nothing on it's own!!!
+1

@ randomuser : Have you seen Honami with the naked eye and/or held/used it?
Check this for the latest on the upcoming Sony phones for 2013: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AreyfktYnDHtdHN0bVFPdUFJd0ZiNzZQcjMwV1I5M0E#gid=0 |

I have read somewhere that Nokia actually asked Sony to make the sensor for the EOS but Sony was not able to put OIS on the specified sensor. Maybe Sony wants to make use of its expertise on sensors this time before others can benefit to it. |

I will keep my mouth shut until the phones come...I just want Honami to beat the hell out of everything...
BTW honami is a mindblowing phone...others have a lot to catch up...then why are they making a new honami2 next year...Probably toward the end of 2014...right ramu?

Has anyone seen any sales figures for 808? The design of the EOS doesn't look very appealing. My guess both serve a very small niche market. If Honami has a more mainstream design I think it will have a much broader appeal and sell vastly more than 808 and EOS. |

I doubt Honami would become mainstream though, it's a niche device and given its high pricepoint, It'll be like the then P-series in terms of market adoption.
Wait, we're at the 666th page!

Most people get their phones on contract. So depending on carrier offers it will sell cheaper... |
