my friend got a K750i as gift when he tried to use the camera the camera dont work instead it jump back to the main menu again...

i tried to check his firmware and found this....


thought there a line call camera SW version something like this??
any users can help?



cant go to SE center for help as there is no warranty for this...

Quite right mate, there should be three lines with "Camera SW versions / Camera / Current: X.X"

I'm wondering if the camera cable has worked loose on your phone like it has on some other K750i's.... There's some thread with pictures regarding re-seating the camera cable... See if you can find it - I'll search around too and reply with a link if I locate it...

I had this problem and I took it back to a service centre for repair. Unfortunatle a week later I dropped it and the problem re-occured. I didnt actually drop it very far though so it seems to connection between the camera and the motherboard is pretty filmsy?

i cant go to the service center because it is not local warranty by my country here....did the service center ppl tell you wad exactly happen to ur phone?

Nope, the service centre sent the phone back to Sony. I was talking to one of the service guys who told me they arent officially allowed to open the 750 yet because sony havnt sent them the repair manual thing, so for another other than a surface repair, even if they know how to fix it, they have to send back to Sony. He also said that Sony never tell them what they have done to the cameras sent back, just put a note with 'fixed' on them and thats it.

Thats a bit rubbish perhaps we should point them to this forum for tips on repairing the phone.
